Working together, we design and establish a non-judgmental space for you to explore the possibilities your life holds. We honor your unique, whole self, the truths you carry, the light you hold, the passions that drive you and the connections you have with yourself and with others. Through cultivating a deeper awareness of who you are, and how you move through the world around you, you can uncover a life with less fear and more joy.

A significant focus of our practice has always been centered in LGBTQ communities and in those affected by trauma. Often the two go hand in-hand. Many of our clients are seeking to moderate or change their relationship with drugs or alcohol. Frequently, substance abuse is rooted in trauma. Using a harm reduction approach, the goals we set and nurture on this path offer opportunities to experience less frustration with the psychotherapy process leading to fewer disappointments and greater satisfaction along the way.

An additional focus of our practice is to work with relationships (monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous). For most people, being in a relationship involves effort, and reveals the best, and most challenging parts of one’s self. This is because when in a relationship, individuals are simultaneously reveling in the benefits and joy of vulnerability and openness, while also experiencing the challenges of being exposed and taking risks. In our work together, we accompany clients on their exploration and assist them to develop new self – supports, more compassionate ways of hearing themselves (and hearing their partners) and more effective ways to communicate their needs or desires.
