Kathryn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working with issues of trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety, sexuality, and gender. She is a Certified in the practice of EMDR and Gestalt Therapy. She is also a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator and a trained Harm Reduction practitioner. Kathryn is a teaching faculty member and supervisor at the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training.
Kathryn utilizes her training to provide a blended approach to her work with clients. Each of these approaches respect the individual’s strengths and capacity to change. Kathryn believes this is the starting point for developing egalitarian relationship. Kathryn supports clients to accept what is beyond one’scontrol and develop a practice of self-awareness and self-compassion while also empowering clients take responsibility and pursue the changes they desire.
Kathryn’s skilled guidance can support and empower you to move through the exciting and often challenging process of change. She is passionate and feels honored to help clients navigate their unique journey of self-discovery and emotional healing.
